Enlightenment Dream

Me and another person I consider fairly enlightened are bickering. A third very miserable, unenlightened person (whom we both know) is watching. We are all sitting in a stream- they are on boulders and I am in the water. It is nighttime. We bicker and are very absorbed in our petty fight.

All the sudden the 3rd person dies and their spirit starts to fly upwards into some beautiful clouds.  Except now, instead of being a miserable unenlightened person they are a Buddha and their face is full of light.  The things they collected (a ring, one white and one black rock, one dice, a graduation hat, and a winning lottery ticket) fall out of his pockets. (the hat falls off his head).

As he is taken into the clouds to be reincarnated,  I realize that while i had been arguing about petty things, this miserable person had done so much evolving that he was a Buddah! While I had done no or very little evolving during that same time period. I had not been working on myself during the time I spent fighting.

I turn away from the argument and hold my necklace.  Flashes of my family, friends, animals, home enter into my mind. I realize that the point of life was to have gratitude to the Universe for all these things/gifts, to show care and respect to them and to the Spirits that bestowed them upon me, and to enjoy them. When I do this I am, not only full of joy, I am filled with a deep love that I spread to others and I evolve. I smile and wake up to the sound of welby munching her food.

I think about my dream and all I am grateful for this last day when I had to deal with Welby’s illness: my Mom who was there for me the whole day, emotionally and financially.  My Dad, Mr Blue-Eyes, Virgo, and my siblings who all called (or text) me to give support, the overwhelming amount of people who rallied up with kind words/prayers/energy for Welby and I, the Universe for providing me with not only the insightful dream, but a difficult time. Difficult times force me to grow and become more refined. The sound of my dog eating, breathing, living next to me. I am so thankful for all these things!!!  There is so much bounty and abundance in the Universe that is being offered to my if I only reach out and take it.  My cup truely is overflowing with goodness and riches.  I am so joyful, and greatful! I have a huge smile and a happy heart now. :-)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :-D

Nature Screaming Dream

I was going along in my dream doing something random when suddenly, for a brief few moments, I was transported into another entities body…. it was like I had possessed someone or something.  This body I was in was experiencing EXTREME pain, fear, ect… (basicly every horrible thing one could feel) all at once and on a very intense level.  It felt like I was being flayed and having my soul cut from my body at the same time. I have never experienced anything so intense in a negative painful way (physically, spiritually, or mentally)  before either in my dreams or my waking life. I was screaming but it was a silent scream.  I couldn’t move. I wasn’t sure exactly what it was I had possessed but the place I was in looked very industrial… there was lots of machinery. After a few moments I was transported back to my normal body in the dream.

Now let me explain something before I finish telling the rest of my dream.  I am almost always aware that I am having a dream while I’m in it and am almost always all powerful.  I can stop monsters, get shot with bullets and not die or feel any pain, fly at super speeds, ect… Basicly, I’m a goddess with no limits.  Whenever there is a scary or wrong element beginning to form in my dream or if anything/anyone needs help I fly quickly to the scene and resolve the problem, then my dream continues.

So, that means whatever it was that I had possessed (at this point I was almost positive it was some sort of nature spirit… maybe a tree?) was crying out desperately for me to help it.  I took off like a jet into the air to go to the scene of the crime but someone that I had just been talking to grabbed my foot and told me to stop.  They told me to get back in bed.  I was mad and kept asking “What?!, NO!”  the dream was getting fuzzy and I realized it was Mr. Blue-Eyes (my lover) trying to wake me up.  I was trying so hard to go back into the dream but I couldn’t talk to him/tell him that I had to go help and stay asleep.  The dream faded as I woke up and realized I was halfway out the door of the bedroom, in a cold sweat with my heart racing.  I climbed back into the bed with him but couldn’t go to sleep for hours… I was (and still am) incredibly disturbed.

This is the first nightmare I’ve had in years.  I NEVER experience pain or fear in my dreams, and this was incredibly jarring for me.  I spent the next few days pondering what in the world could it mean… was there a forest being cut down somewhere?  Was something being killed?

A week or so later I find out it I had that dream less than 48hours after the BP Oil Spill in the gulf.  I was right, it was  a nature spirit crying out… thousands of them.  I’ve got to figure out what I can do to help, this is all so so wrong!

Bearded Lady Dream

I had a dream where Mama, Nicole, Christy and I went into this familys house.  There was a mom and 5 kids- 4girls and a boy ranging in ages from the oldest girl (16) to the youngest girl (9).  The mom didn’t beleve in making rules and one of the girls had a baby that was invisible to the mom and rest of the family.  The girl couldn’t take care of it by herself so she put it in a garbage can…right in front of everyone!  I was appalled and ran over and picked up the baby and took it back to the girl.  She was shocked that I could see it.  I told her that she has to always look after family and she can’t just throw a baby away.  She started crying and said she didn’t want too, but that she didn’t know how to raise a baby and nobody would help her.  She also had nobody to talk to, her mom didn’t believe in talking about upsetting or conflicting things.  I told her I would look after the baby for a few house so she could relax/get some sleep, and gave her my phone number in case she ever needed to talk to someone about whatever.  I went into the living room and the mom was sitting at an ornate vanity station putting on lots of gaudy makeup and painting on a beard. The house and kids were dirty and the kids were drinking and vulgar.  It was a gross place

Three Castles Dream

Originally written April 22, 2010

1st castle- lots of construction, castle being built, moat, two drawbridges, I was banished by Mama because someone said I assaulted them, everyone believed her.  I felt deceived.  Blue-Eyes tried to stick up for me, he was a prince in a neighbouring area, but to no avail.  I was questioned, put in chains and put in a prison car to be transported to a prison.  On the way there I escaped and fled to a far away mountainous country where I was taken in by an old hermit who lived in a cave.  The hermit was a wizard and I became his apprentice.

2nd castle- years later.  I come back disguised. Blue-Eye’s parents are now the owners of the castle (King and Queen), Mama is nowhere to be seen. Lots of feasting and parties, the castle and its people are prosperous.  They see who I am and urge me to see Blue-Eyes, who has shut himself away and does nothing but drink and see prostitutes, they want him to be who he used to be and take his place as king- and also act like one.  I go and talk to him, I tell him I will return again when my banishment is up.  we wed and I leave

3rd castle- years later.  I am now a powerful wizard and can become a dragon. The world is a more magical/mythical place and depending upon who you have studied magic with, you have a different form.  I am not the only one who has studied magic. I return to Blue-Eyes who is a king in his own castle. Virgo is his steward and she manages his finances and random things around the castle.  It is pretty quiet there and I reunite with him.  I see he has become closer friends with one of his ex girlfriends and though I am initially ok with this, I later become jealous when she disrespects me (I am queen now) in my own house and he does not stick up for me.  The woman becomes more and more haughty and I realize it is because she knows some magic and thinks she is all powerful. I tell her to get out of my house.  Later she comes back uninvited and challenges me. I become a dragon and fly at her.  She is a Cockatrice, and I rip her head off, breathe my fiery breath down her throat to burn her insides, and eat her.  I moodily go back to my chambers where Blue-Eyes comes to see me, realizing now how upset I was. He tells me that even though the woman wanted it (so she could be queen and become more powerful), there was nothing going on between them and that he loves me.  I ask him to stick up for me more and he says he will.

Oak Tree God Dream

Originally written April 26, 2010

This morning I had a particularly powerful dream. Here it is…

I am flying through a city, it is Dallas but it doesn’t look like Dallas.  I know this because I used to dream about this city and I always knew it was Dallas.  Plus, there was a red pegasus sign in the downtown (one of Dallas’ landmarks). A place I flew by (and visited in other dreams was an occult/curiosity shop located in an old house) a huge stone church (where I went to some kind of luncheon and had a complex dream about aliens & organs), and a fancy, modern, rooftop restaurant. I flew to an amusement park on a great hill where I looked though some mounted binoculars.  the binoculars looked down upon a beautiful green park that started at the base of the amusement park and went down to the bottom of the great hill.  There were lots of people enjoying the nature there, and in all the trees were long lavender streamers and beautiful ornaments. The ornaments ranged from glass balls to anything beautiful people had made and put on a long string as an offering to the trees.  I flew out of the amusement park and into the green park.  A man walking his dog complimented me on my key necklace, a lovely piece that I had made.  I said “Thanks!  Keys are great for opening doors!” and winked.  I walked around the park and felt so full by it’s beauty and lushness.  I saw a beautiful creek at the bottom and lots of huge ancient oak trees with their lavender streamers and bobbles down at the bottom of the hill.  I knew Nicole HAD to see this place so I few to a far side of the city to get her and bring her.  We drove back since she couldn’t fly and walked through the park, she was as enchanted as I was.  When we got to the grove and I stood under the decorated trees I got a flashback.  The key in my necklace had once been an ornament on a very ancient oak.  The oak tree was actually a part of a giant dormant forest god who awoke when I played around his tree as a little girl.  He dropped the key for me as a gift (unknown to me as a child) and I saved it until much later when I made it into a necklace. *end of flashback*  A hippy looking women with dreadlocks and twin boys interrupt me from my thoughts.  She is examining my necklace and compliments me on it.  She says she loves the fact that it is a key. I say the same thing I did to the man, this time with full understanding “Thanks!  Keys are great for opening doors!”  I see a flash of the forest God smiling his toothy grin.  The woman’s eyes light up and she exclaims “YES!  Yes they are!”  She rounds off her boys and runs away.  I wonder if she is going to look for her own key.  Nicole and I cross the stream at the bottom of the hill and go into a large open air market.  I wake up

This dream is particularly powerful to me because some of the best times I had as a child was when I was playing on and around a HUGE (over a hundred feet tall, and the diameter was at LEAST 10ft) oak tree that grew next to our house in Lake Jackson.  The tree was shaped in such a way that there was a sort of “seat” or “throne” that I could climb up into.  I would sit in that spot and imagine it was a huge benevolent creature, and I was sitting in its lap.  The creature was always a sort of ogre looking thing, (remember how much I loved that rancor monster when I saw it?  Now you know why. ;-) ) and as the years went on I have kinda come to see the spirit of that oak tree as some sort of personal protector.  Trees have always been so so sacred to me, and I have always felt the closest God/the most spiritual when I am in a forest or grove. I am even getting a tattoo of a tree on my left wrist to symbolize this connection I have.  This “oak tree God” has been with me in my dreams and imagination for years and years.  Whenever I have been afraid I imagine I’m laying in his lap and my fear goes away.  When there were scary monsters in my dreams he would show up and gobble up all the other monsters then pick me up and put me on his back.  He’s the reason I don’t have nightmares any more.  I can’t even remember the last time I had a nightmare. I usually don’t really share this type of information about me because it is very personal and some people tend to be frightened by it and think I must be crazy.  I don’t really care what they believe about me, I just don’t want them to be scared.  So please don’t… my rather seer/shaman type ability runs in the family and isn’t scary to be a part of.  It’s pretty calming, actually.  I wish everyone could see things like I do.

The dream dictionary says this about oak trees: Oak Tree
To see an oak tree in your dream, symbolizes longevity, stability, strength, tolerance, wisdom, and prosperity. It may also mean that you have built a solid foundation for success in some endeavor. And about the lavender streamers: To see lavender in you dream, indicates mysticism and spirituality. To see floating ribbons (streamers = large ribbons) floating in your dream, signifies pleasant companions. And ornaments: To see or hang an ornament in your dream, refers to the things in your life that you do to make yourself feel good. It is also symbolic of a spiritual gift.

The key necklace actually looked alot like a picture I saw here on tumblr.  Tumblr led me to find the necklace for sale on etsy which I bookmarked and thought nothing about.  I just went back and checked the site and found it was still for sale! :-O  Needless to say, I bought that thing right up.  I can’t wait to wear it as a symbol of a gift from a long time friend. Here is a pic:

Wolves Dream

Originally written March 29, 2010

I had a beautiful dream about wolves a few nights ago… here is how it went.

I was walking through a forest full of willows and blossoming cherry trees in winter and climbed one of the cherry trees to get a good look around. Snow was falling in giant beautiful flakes. I continued journing through the woods and came upon a wolfpack of grey and brown wolves led by a great white wolf. The great white leader stared at me and accepted me as it’s mate. I became a part of their pack and we all slept together in a small cave to keep warm.  Soon the snow started melting and I ran through the forest with my pack singing.  Small patches of grass and snowdrops peaked through the drifts.

Here is what the dream dictionary has to say about it:

FOREST/WOODS
To dream that you are in or walking through the forest, signifies a transitional phase. Follow your instincts. To see the woods in your dream, represents life, fertility, rejuvenation, and spring. Alternatively, it symbolizes the unknown and unconscious. You may be discovering your instinctual nature. To dream that you are walking through the woods, signifies your return to an aspect of yourself that is innocent and spiritual.

WILLOW TREE:
willow represents survival or rebirth.

CHERRY TREE:
To see a cherry tree in your dream, represents luck, spring, femininity, and youth.

WINTER
To dream of winter, signifies ill-health, depression, and misfortune. The dream may be analogous to how you are feeling - emotionally cold and frigid. For others, it may symbolize a favorite time of the year signaling the holiday season of fun, joy, togetherness and giving. Or winter is a time of reflection and spiritual introspection.

CLIMB
To dream that you are climbing up something (ladder, rope, etc.), signifies that you are trying to or you have overcome a great struggle. It also suggests that your goals are finally within reach.

SNOW
If the snow is melting, then it suggests that you are acknowledging and releasing emotions you have repressed. You are overcoming your fears and obstacles.
To dream that you are watching the snow fall, represents a clean start and a fresh, new perspective. It is indicative of spiritual peace and tranquility.

SNOWFLAKE
To see a snowflake in your dream, represents purity and perfection.

WOLF
To see a wolf in your dream, symbolizes survival, beauty, solitude, mystery, self-confidence and pride. You are able to keep your composure in a variety of social circumstances and blend into any situation with ease and grace. You are also a loner by choice. Negatively, the wolf represents hostility, aggression, or sneakiness. It may reflect an uncontrollable force or situation in your life.
To see a white wolf in your dream, then it signifies valor and victory. You have the ability to see the light even in your darkest hours.

CAVE
To see or dream that you are in a cave, symbolize the womb and thus signify refuge, protection and concealment.

RUNNING
To dream that you are running with others, signifies festive and prosperous times.

SINGING
To sing in your dream, represents happiness, harmony and joy in some situation or relationship. You are uplifting others with your positive attitude and cheerful disposition. Singing is a way to celebrate, communicate and express your feelings.

GRASS
To see green grass in your dream, suggests that there is a part of yourself that you can always rely on. The dream is also symbolic of natural protection.

SNOWDROP
To see snowdrops in your dream, symbolize rebirth, hope, and new opportunities after a period of inactivity. You are emerging from a time of darkness with a fresh attitude. The dream may also be a metaphor for snow dropping or snow falling.

Cave Dream

Originally written March 7, 2010 (Still incomplete)

Part 1-

Texas park & wildlife, survival class, pirannas, boats, green alge, swamp, supposed to be lake jackson but it didn’t look like it (looks like a place I have seen before in my dreams)

I think I was with Nicole, we were at a state park and hiked down into this cave where we came upon some ancient ruins, maybe aztec or egyptian.  We passed the ruins and got to a underground river where we found a woven, basket shaped boat filled with supplies.  We decided to take the boat back to the part of the shore where the ruins were, and then hike back up to the surface, but when we got there we saw that the ruins were changing shape and were in the process of walling us into the cave.  We screamed for help as we tried to make our way through the elaborate maze puzzle.  Some people ran down from the surface when they heard our screams and got trapped with us.  We decided it would be better to get out of the ruins and face the river (in the ruin puzzle you could be turned into a golden statue, and that would be the end of you) so we got out at the shore when the puzzle opened up again (for some reason it was much easier to get back to the shore of the underground river than it was to get back to the part of the cave that had an opening to the outside world)  There were more boats on the river now, enough for all the people.  We all got in our boats and began paddeling with the current.  The cave had many huge stlagtights and stlagmights that had grown together over thousands of years and now looked like giant pillars. The river eventually brought us to a shore so we picked up our boats and supplies and moved into another room of the cave.  This room of the cave had many idols and offerings, there were bells with long tassels hanging from the cealing,  it was hard to manuvure through the room  without bumping something.  If you did bump something a strange and rather scary looking priestess that was lounging in one corner of the cave would make you bow down and recite a prayer.  Randomly this priestess would start praying and when this happened you had to stop making your way through the room, bow down, and pray whatever she was praying.

meditation room, got thrown out into a jungle, square cleared area, fenced in madonna and child, me and welby, fenced to protect from something in the jungle, not enough chain, ran into jungle, jumped in boat and flew away, crashed over ocean,  found oceanliving culture that nicole and a few others and become a part of,  they thought I was a goddess, hurricane or large storm washes nicole, nathan, me, and some other people up on a beach.  Beach is beautiful and calm  I start directing people on settingup shelter & collecting driftwood.  Breeze is constant and wonderful.  It’s an island of a wind god.

Dream Elements

I’ve had a lot of dreams lately that involve the ocean and beaches (also, me driving a train).  Here is what the dream dictionary has to say about that:

Beach

To see the beach in your dream, symbolizes the meeting between your two states of mind. The sand is symbolic of the rational and mental processes while the water signifies the irrational, unsteady, and emotional aspects of yourself. It is a place of transition between the physical/material and the spiritual.

To dream that you are on the beach and looking out toward the ocean, indicates unknown and major changes that are occurring in your life. Consider the state of the ocean, whether it is calm, pleasant, forbidding, etc.

To dream that you are looking toward the beach, suggests that you are returning to what is familiar to you. Alternatively, you may be adapting or accepting to the changes and circumstances in your life.

To dream that you are relaxing on a beach, signifies that the coming weeks will be calm and tranquil for you. Your stress will be alleviated and you will find peace of mind.

To dream that you are working on the beach, signifies a business project that will consume most of your time.

Shore

To see the shore in your dream, suggests that your emotional needs are satisfied and any inner turmoil has been resolved. It also symbolizes a place where the conscious mind meets the unconscious.

Ocean

To see an ocean in your dream, represents the state of your emotions and feelings.  It is indicative of some spiritual refreshment,  tranquility and renewal.

Train

…To dream that you are the engineer, signifies that you are in complete control of a particular situation in your waking life.

Viking Raders Dream

Original post written November 27, 2009

Anyway! I had another odd dream last night. This one had more of an action/adventure feel to it than the one I posted about yesterday/dreamed about a few days ago. Hannah, Nicole and I were in this kinda spooky, broken down, black viking village that was perched atop a hill in the middle of a swamp/ocean. There were lots of co-opers around and we decided we wanted to go to this party down in a cave that Laura had told us about. The bad part was we needed wristbands, so I forged some out of old bracelets. We descended down some ancient looking stone stairs and found ourselves in a labyrinth of rooms and passages. Eventually we found the party and Hannah and Nicole went. I decided to explore. I went deeper and deeper. All the walls were black. A few things happened that I don’t remember but next thing I knew I had a huge fancy shotgun and was running around the place killing monsters, grabbing ancient relics, and fighting bosses. The final boss was this nasty flesh cabinet thing with an eyeball on top. In the final stage of the boss, the cabinet doors opened and there was a bottle of black liquid that was it’s “heart”. With guidance from Nicole, I was able to shoot the bottle. Black ooze poured out and started consuming everything. We fled up the tunnels and stairs. The ooze was destroying everything and anyone in it’s path. Almost nobody from the party escaped. We got to the surface through an old well and saw that our village had just been raided and everything was burning. Most of the people there had been taken as slaves. The raiders took Christy, so Nicole and I set out to go rescue her. We grabbed one of the few longboats that hadn’t been destroyed and pushed it out to sea. After days of travel, we made it to the compound where we knew she was being kept. It was some sort of cult led by a creepy, stern woman. We observed the cult members going in and out of a bunker. I snuck in due to the fact that I had that relic. The relic made me appear to others as whatever type of figure I wanted to embody (a fellow cult member in this case) The bunker was a place they were brainwashing and doing experiments on the captives. It looked like a government building. I found Christy and she was fine, thank goodness. I got her out and the three of us got on the back of a giant sea monster and escaped.

Ex & Demon Dream #2

Original entry written November 25, 2009

Had a weird dream the other night… I was flying around (as usual- I almost always fly in my dreams) watching Mr. Blue-Eyes and his friends… they were making a giant glass dragon. Then I flew through a cobblestone ally and up the side of a building. I saw an ex lover of mine and his current girlfriend through the window. (I think it was a hospital or mental institution or something) Anyway he was chained down and there were some sort of shade or demon (which neither of them could see) with a syringe drawing blood or energy from him. He looked like he was asleep and she had her hands in her face crying. I few away and across an ocean to a beautiful tropical beach (I think it was an island?). All my friends, family, and current lover were lounging around smiling. I took a nap in a pagoda full of soft pillows, then got up, and again flew over an ocean. This time I was in a giant forest, and I perched at the top of a huge tree and watched the clouds go by. There were lots of creatures/monsters around me, but they were friendly, and either meant me no harm or were my protectors. The dream went on, but I don’t remember what happened… all I know is that I woke up laughing. :-D
